This is a video tutorial on how to navigate OASIS. First, we will explore the OASIS homepage, and then we will explore how to find your content within each of your courses. So first and foremost, let's start with the OASIS main menu, which is the gray menu on the left-hand side of your screen. You'll see that the first thing at the top of that menu is called Catalog, and you'll see that your homepage automatically loads the catalog for you. The catalog is essentially a list of all the courses that TCDD has that is available publicly, or consists of the courses that you are already individually enrolled in. The next tab is My Courses. Here it will list all the courses that you are enrolled as a participant in or have already started to navigate, so that way you can start or review content from this page. The next tab is the Community page. Here, if you have been added to a community, you will have a notification here and the ability to post discussion boards, ask questions, and connect with other people in the community. The fourth option is the Transcript page. Within the transcript page, it will list every single certificate of completion that you have gained using the OASIS system. For example, I have completed the Seek, Secure, and Serve course, so I will be able to download my certificate of completion from this page, and always go back to reference it and find it here. Lastly, in the grey menu, we have the Help button, which offers you the contact information for the two individuals that oversee the OASIS system. If you encounter any issues navigating OASIS, accessing courses, or require technical assistance, especially after you have viewed the entirety of this course, these are the two individuals that you would like to reach out to. The last thing I'd like to show you on your OASIS homepage is the option to also check out your Notifications, which if you click your name in the upper right-hand corner, it will provide a drop-down menu, and Notifications is the second option. If your instructor or a TCPD staff member is trying to get in contact with you, or if you've been enrolled in a course, you need to accept that invitation. You can find that invitation in your Notifications page. Now let's figure out how to explore some courses. So I will go back to My Courses, and I will go into the Seek, Secure, and Serve course for the sake of this example. So now that I am within the Seek, Secure, and Serve course, I have a lot of things to click around on. So let's start with the Overview menu item. You'll see that the Overview menu item provides a high-level summary of what the course is going to teach you, contact information, as well as a few helpful links. And so this is the page to go to to orient yourself to what you'll be learning in the course. The second tab is Event Detail. If your course has live sessions, you will have the Event Detail menu item available for you to click. On this page, you can view all the live sessions that you will be required to attend, and from here, you can register for them, add them to your calendar, as well as join a meeting. The next menu item is Content, and on the Content page, you will see each piece of content that you can navigate and click through and gain access to, and you'll also see that each content week comes with a progression bar. So that way, you're able to see your progress, and as you can see, I have all green progress because I have successfully completed every part of the module for each week. If you don't have all green, you may have a gray or a blue box, which just indicates that you have not yet started that assignment or you have not turned it in yet. Next is the Q&A page. As you'll see here, the Q&A page is currently blank because this is up to users to go in and ask questions to the facilitators and have their question posted publicly and have the administrators come through and respond publicly as well. So this is a great page to use and a great resource should you have a question that is not highly specific or personal to you that other members in your sprint could learn from. And then lastly, we have the discussion board page. This is where if you have a discussion board-based assignment or if you'd like to have a discussion with your classmates about the topic, where you can go ahead and start a new discussion and either respond to the prompt or start the conversation. I hope that this tutorial was helpful.
